Team Baldos is the name of a team of students at Luleå University of Technology, LTU, developing and manufacturing a car for the Shell Eco Marathon. Once again the challenge to build a vehicle that is as fuel efficient as possible has been accepted. Team Baldos will participate in the Shell Eco Marathon 2010.

The purpose of this project is to encourage innovation in the area of transport and propellant and thus explore new solutions on future cars with respect to the environment. The race will take place in eastern Germany on the Eurospeedway Lausitz track, May 6-7 2010.

Baldos from 2008 did not only win the Urban Concept class by driving furthest on one litre of gasoline, but also the Combustion Engine prize, Climate-friendly Grand prize (least CO2 emissions), Alternative Gasoline Award, and last but not least the BOSCH Technical Innovation Award.
